LISTEN TO LATITUDES

My new album Latitudes is about the freedom to simple be. It's honest, intimate, and raw – about life, death, the loss of love, and my dreams of what could still become.

The first single, Gotta Get Away, is a song based on a phrase my mother would say when I was faced with a decision about doing something or choosing a path. She would tell me, “5 years will go by anyway, Beth, so just do it – take a chance, seize the moment.” It’s a homage to my mother and the bold moves I have taken in my life.

The Vinelings are led by Elizabeth Houston on guitars, vocals and piano.

She grew up listening to her grandparent's country-western records amongst the orange groves and cow fields of a small town in central Florida.

Her passion and sound are deeply influenced by a variety of soulful artists, from Patsy Cline to Stevie Nicks and Elliot Smith.

SOLO PROJECTS

Elizabeth's solo projects feature Singer-Songwriter, Neo-Folk Apocalyptic guitar melodies; and cinematic piano compositions that create ethereal sound environments for film, video and tv. Her songs often reflect on the meaning of life, the experience of being human, and the intimate emotions that come from both beauty and pain.
